Tour overview
A 20-day trip to explore the best of Papyrus Travel & Tours. Visiting Sweet Waters, Lake Nakuru, Maasai Mara, Lake Naivasha, Mount Longonot, Amboseli, Tsavo, and Kisite Marine Park sounds like an incredible adventure!
Day 1: Pick up
Pick up from JKIA and transfer to FOUR POINTS by Sheraton Nairobi Airport for overnight stay or Similar hotel.
Day 2: Nairobi to Sweetwater Game Reserve.
After breakfast your departure and drive to Sweetwater game Reserve. It has magnificent views across the plains to the snow-capped peaks of Mount Kenya. At Sweetwater you can see many Animals eg Zebras, Elephants,and Buffalo's. This reserve is a Chimpanzee sanctuary and only one of it's kind in Kenya. You may even witness leopard and Lion. Dinner and overnight stay at Sweetwater tented Camp.
Day 3: Sweetwater Game Reserve.
Spend the all day in this Game Reserve which is about 24,000 acre enjoy the unique opportunity of observing the chimps by boat - weather permitting on the Ewaso nyiro River which flows through the middle of the one square kilometers sanctuary.
Dinner and overnight stay at Sweetwater tented Camp
Day 4: Sweetwater to Lake Nakuru.
After breakfast you start your Safari to Lake Nakuru National Park by road with a stop over at Thomson falls. Then proceed to Nakuru arriving in time for lunch at Sarova Lion Hill.In the afternoon game drive in this park which provides a sanctuary for Rhinos Dinner and overnight at Sarova Lion Hill Camp or any Lodge are camp of your choice.
Day 5: Full day in Lake Nakuru national Park.
Morning and afternoon game drive in this Park with all meals and overnight stay at Sarova Lion Hill or any Lodge or Camp.
Day 6: Lake Nakuru national Park to Masai Mara.
After breakfast depart for Masai Mara with stop over at Narok and arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive to get closer look at the Masai Mara which is famous for big Cats among other plans game. Return to the for dinner and overnight stay at Sarova Mara camp or any other Lodge of your choice.
Day 7: Full day in Masai Mara.
This day you can choose to have a full day game drive in this reserve by taking picnic lunch boxes with you or you can as well choose to do two game drive in the morning and afternoon. Which ever way , you have a full day in Masai Mara.
All meals and overnight stay at Sarova Mara camp or any of your choice.
Day 8: Full day in Masai Mara.
On this day you have pre_breakfast you will visit Masai village, which you will experience the Maasai culture and lifestyle which is great adventure.
Dinner and overnight stay at Sarova Mara camp or any other Lodge of your choice.
Day 9: Masai Mara to lake Naivasha.
After breakfast you depart from Masai Mara to lake Naivasha arriving in time for lunch at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge or any of your choice. In the afternoon you will be able to have a bike ride around the hell's gate to prepare yourself for the next day Mount Longonot hiking.Dinner and overnight stay at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge or any other Lodge of your choice.
Day 10: Mt Longonot Hiking
On this day you depart after breakfast with packed lunch to Mt Longonot.Your drive will drop you at the gate and proceed with your mountain guide.
Mt Longonot Hiking takes 4 to 5 hours, The 3.1kms trails up the mountain from the gate to the rim of the crater takes 45 minutes to 2 hours depending on one's competences
Once you reach the rim you have the choice to descend or hike all around the Crater. This adds up to 7.2km to the hike around 2 to 3 hours.
After the hike you meet you drive at the gate and proceed to your Lodge dinner and overnight stay at lake Naivasha sopa Lodge or any other Lodge of your choice.
Day 11: Lake Naivasha to Amboseli National Park.
After breakfast depart at 7.00am and proceed to Amboseli National Park through Nairobi for lunch . After lunch proceed to Amboseli arriving in the evening with game drive enroute to your Lodge.
Amboseli National Park is a seasonal swamp, during wet season the water spills over a large area attracting many different animals and a great variety of birds, during the day season the swamp dries up and the landscape is alive with swirling dust. The park is always dominated by the bulk of Mt. Kilimajaro, the highest mountain in Africa. The snow Canberra seen early in the morning or late afternoon.
Animals to be seen are, Elephants, Buffalos Wildebeests, Zebras, Ostrich, Giraffes, Lions just to mention a few.
Dinner and overnight stay at Amboseli Sopa Lodge or any other Lodge or Camp of your choice.
Day 12: Full day at Amboseli.
Spend the whole day at Amboseli with morning and evening game viewing drives in the park which is well renowned for it's big herd of elephants. All meals and overnight stay at Amboseli Sopa Lodge or any other Lodge or Camp of your choice.
Day 13: Amboseli to Tsavo West National Park.
After your sumptuous breakfast, depart for adjacent Tsavo West National Park past the dramatic Shetani lava floors. Arrive Kilanguni Serena Lodge in time for lunch. Relax then you proceed with your evening game viewing drive in this park inhabited by plain games living undisturbed. Dinner and overnight stay at Kilanguni Serena Lodge or any other Lodge or Camp.
Day 14: Full day at Tsavo West National Park.
Spend the whole day enjoying the park with game drive in the morning and evening . Dinner and overnight stay at Kilanguni Serena Lodge or any other Lodge or camp.
Day 15: Tsavo West to Tsavo East National Park.
Breakfast at the Lodge followed by enroute game viewing drive out of the park as you cross the Nairobi Mombasa highway separating these two parks. Both parks are bigger than the state of Israel. Later check into your lodge for lunch. A unique red Elephants confirming to you that you are now in Tsavo East National Park. After lunch an evening game viewing drive in the park is planned before you return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Manyatta Camp or any other Lodge of your choice or camp.
Day 16: Full day at Tsavo East,
Spend the whole day Tsavo East with morning and afternoon game viewing drives. All meals and overnight stay at Manyatta Camp or any other Lodge of your choice or Camp
Day 17: Tsavo East National Park to Kisite Marine Park.
After breakfast depart at 7:00 am and proceed to Kisite Marine Park arriving for late lunch at Shimoni Reef lodge. Dinner and overnight stay at Shimoni Reef Lodge.
Day 18 and 19: Kisite Marine Park and Guided Walking tour of Wasini Island
2 nights stay on full board and includes a day trip by Show to Kisite Marine Park and guided walking tour of wasini Island.

Day 20: Departure
After breakfast depart Kisite Marine Park to Mombasa Airport to Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and connect your flight back home if time allows you or overnight stay at FOUR POINTS BY SHERATON Nairobi Airport until the next day for your flight
